I never hear about am before.

[Wait, na this babe be Amara? That pro gamer wey blow for UK, always dey wear pink cloth, dey win every match for that mobile game?]

[No wonder! She dey always wear mask for tournament—nobody sabi her real face. So na Halima be this.]

[Omo, why she dey yarn this one now? E don set, Halima na my goddess from today.]

[Halima too correct. I dey fall for her already.]

See all these people, just now now dem dey talk another thing...

As I dey watch the bullet comments fly, I just shake head, smile small.

"Tobi, why you no talk? You wan tell me say you never hear about Amara before?"

Halima voice don change, e dey like say she dey vex.

"You dey hear me so? You dey craze? You get mind ignore me."

"You no dey behave today. I gats punish you."

"Inside that suit package wey I send, collar dey there. Go wear am."

Halima point me, her eye dey shine with mischief.

She be real wahala babe o. All these Gen Z girls and their wahala, e get as e be. But man gats play along.

"Halima, you wan turn me to ajebo puppy abi? How I go fit ignore person wey fine like you?"

I quickly arrange myself, reply her with my normal cool voice.

"I just dey reason your birthday wey dey come, dey wonder which kind gift go make you remember me forever."

"But since na collar you wan make I wear, I go wear am for you. As long as e go make you smile."

Halima face light up as she hear my answer.

"See, I get tournament next week. You gats watch am. If you miss am, you go regret. You hear?"

Halima bite yoghurt pouch, dey give me her normal bossy instruction.

One week from now...

"No worry. I no go miss your match for anything."

I just reply her, no even blink.

Halima smile scatter, then end call early, talk say she wan rest and prepare surprise for me.

As I drop phone, I fit swear say my ear still dey hot from all her wahala. But I no go lie—sometimes all these small drama dey make guy feel alive for this city.
