Class wey dey scatter person brain. I rush go, bag dey drag, hair no even lay well.

I rush enter class, just in time. No seat for front, so I find one for aisle—easy to japa after class, as I get work.

I look up see Tobi face cold like harmattan. All black—hoodie, cargo trousers, hood half cover him face—guy just dey mysterious.

The drip choke. Black hoodie, black trouser, even shoe black. The guy package, but the face cold, eyes like winter.

As I remember him tears for that video, guilt touch me, I stand sharp let am pass.

I shift chair fast, no wan collect another round of heartbreak. Guilt dey bite me, but I just bone, dey act innocent.

As he waka pass, one kind scent of shea butter just enter my nose. Sleep wey dey worry me before just run, even my headache clear.

The shea butter blend with small perfume, e make the whole row fresh. Even Qiuqiu for back dey sniff air.

And then—he sit down for my side.

My heart just dey run relay. This kain close-range no dey easy. I dey try act cool, but my hand dey sweat.

After bell ring, I dey peep between lecturer and Tobi.

Lecturer dey shout, but generator noise for window dey drown am. I dey peep Tobi, dey pretend say I dey jot note.

Class dey dull. He dey spin pen, fingers long and fair, black biro just dey dance. All those wey get hand fetish for class go dey jealous.

The way biro dey roll for him finger, you go know say the guy sabi. Some babes dey peep from back, dey whisper. I dey form as if I no see.

I just dey think: If na me get those hands, my joy for complete.

I dey imagine my name tattooed for that palm—if na me get those hands, I for dey do TikTok every day. I just dey smile for inside, dey shake head for myself.
