After Aunty Sharma flew abroad again, the bungalow felt emptier—just me and Rohan, each in our own world. I stuck to my routines, headphones on, refusing to let myself get drawn into Rohan and Sneha’s world.
Before, I’d burn with envy, finding excuses to interrupt them. I’d hold a cup of chai, approach Rohan, and tease, "Hey, shouldn’t you keep some distance from Sneha? Your girlfriend will get jealous!" He’d just smile, never taking my words seriously, always sharing his umbrella with Sneha, always lending her his jacket.
Now, I ignored it all, focusing on my studies, my own dreams. The world no longer revolved around Rohan.
