Inside the big office, city dey shine for outside through the glass.
“MD, you call me?”
Fisayo look up from computer, dey observe me.
“Ifeanyi?”
“I dey here, MD.”
He raise eyebrow. “Chuka?”
I act like say I no understand.
“MD, who be Chuka?”
He just laugh, relax, dey look me. “No dey do like say you no know.”

I just shout, “Which mole?”
Fisayo pinch him earlobe playfully.
Chai, na true, I get one small mole for my ear. Just yesterday, this same man dey kiss am. My face stiff anyhow.

For my mind, na only God fit save me now. If I lie pass this one, HR fit hear am. I see say I no fit hide am again, I just laugh anyhow. “MD, see as world small reach.”
He just dey smile like person wey get secret. “So na me be that new boss wey you dey talk about.”

I join my hands beg. “MD, abeg, for work make we just act like say we no know each other. Work na work, outside work na another thing.”
He nod, but e face show small disappointment. I nearly run comot from him office.
As I waka comot, my leg dey shake. For my mind, I dey thank God say Fisayo dey reasonable. Some people for Naija no dey hear that kain boundary talk. The small smile wey remain for him face dey tickle my liver—man wey sabi himself no dey too vex for small matter. Still, I gats dey careful.
